    The Lynx Astro Dew Heater Strap is designed to keep your telescope's optics slightly warmer than the dew point, preventing moisture formation. Simply wrap the 60cm strap around your telescope tube near the optics and secure it with the integrated Velcro/elastic strap. The modern heating element ensures even heat distribution, while the outer thermal insulating layer minimises heat loss. The smooth inner fabric ensures that the telescope’s surface remains scratch-free.

    Will I need a Dew Controller? 

    A simple 12V Dew Heater Supply Cable can connect the tape to a compatible 12V power supply. When linked this way, the tape operates at full power, which won’t damage it. However, with smaller telescope apertures, it may cause the optics to become warmer than needed, potentially affecting the view and wasting energy. The best solution is to use a Dew Controller to regulate the heat, allowing for the use of multiple heater tapes as well.
