The telescope is brilliant, been able to get some really great photos of the moon. Waiting for the weather to be clear enough to get some deep-sky objects.
As for a general review:
Really great customer service, helped me pick out the right tripod accessory for the telescope. Very quick postage too.
Got a good price and delivery was quick. I had been using a Nikon D7200, which was okay, but really wanted to try a camera designed for astro-photography, and this one came highly recommended on forums and YouTube videos. Managed to do a small test, cooling, setting up focus and exposure, this was all good, but weather curtailed any further tested that night. Next night my mini-PC glitched in server mode and that killed that night. Since then, weather has not been conducive to any more testing and usage. I would definitely consider buying more kit from Vega Vision.

I have been doing amateur astronomy for over 60 years, and until retirement I was designing and building X-ray Astronomy satellites with cooled CCDs. So I have always had cameras and telescopes and dabbled with software. I have always been a bit against GOTO systems and smart telescopes, as it takes away naked eye observations and learning to navigate the night sky. However.......the S30 smart telescope is a revelation. A good lens, very low noise image sensor, smooth motor control, and very clever comprehensive software that does plate solving on the fly gives a fantastic user experience.
The thrill of it finding the objects we love in the night sky in real time is irresistible. I don't need much more than this, however, as I am a 'maker', not just a user I would like to find a group where we might be able to exploit the Seestar software to use with our existing telescopes and powered mounts.

I haven’t had time to fully explore the potential of the S30….YET! I have taken amazing moon shots and have enjoyed playing on scenery…..looking forward to learning more. So pleased and have recommended it to others and of course Vega. Vision…fantastic customer service and delivery!

Excellent service and arrived sooner than expected as a pesent for our young son who loves space and astronomy. It is very easy to use and quick to set up. He absolutely loves it and is now actively asking when we will next get a clear sky so he can go stargazing!
The way this works is mine blowing. It makes finding, seeing and photographing deep space objects so easy. Once the initial set up is complete, that's the hard work done, after that it's astronomy made easy as the Seestar does all the hard work, you just sit back and enjoy the results. My only criticism is, as the unit needs to be leveled every use, a fine adjustment tripod head would make life a lot easier. Although said head can be purchased relatively cheaply, as levelling the unit is vitally important for use, you would think that one would supplied with the unit. You can level the unit without the head but it's much easier with one. That aside, the SEESTAR is an amazing piece of equipment that produces fantastic results.
I've had outstanding service from Vegavision. They are a small independent company and customer service is exceptional. Emails and enquiries are replied to almost instantly. I wanted a zWO SeeStar S30 for my grandson and these are pretty much unavailable throughout the country. I pre-ordered one with Vegavision and it arrived in a couple of weeks. I was kept informed throughout the process and it was dispatched with next day delivery. The SeeStar s30 itself is a brilliant piece of kit and takes the most amazing images of deep space. It works through the app and you can have it up and running in a matter of minutes. The 0pictures of distant galaxies and nebuli are almost on a par with the Hubble telescope. In years of looking through telescopes I have never seen anything like it.
I’ve tried big reflector scopes etc over the years and smaller spotting scopes as well, they were always clunky to use.
The Vespera Pro is like a plug and play to begin with, but the more you use it, the more the universe opens for you.

Perfect for any novice or indeed experienced astrophotographer.
To say its simple to use is an understatement.
Within minutes i was looking a sunspots on our Sun.
A few nights later I'm imaging the Rosette Nebula in all its stunning glory.
I'd highly recommend it and also Vega Vision as the place to source whatever you require for astrophotography.
The SeeStar S30 is amazing. There is always a concern with new equipment that it won't work well or that it will be too technical to use easily. Not the case at all with the S30, the app has walkthroughs and is itself very simple to navigate.
One of the more pleasing add-ons is the Dew heater, which is a god send.
I'm very happy with my purchase and it truly is very enjoyable piece of equipment.

After placing pre-order I was contacted to confirm address as I ordered to my workplace and they wanted to make sure this is correct.
Also, pre-ordered Seestar S50 arrived much earlier than expected.
Telescope is great and easy to use, Seestar app has plenty of tutorials so it is easy to learn how to use it. Sky atlas and 'Tonight's best' allowing to catch the best objects without to much of research. It is a shame that weather isn't better :)

Didn’t have to wait long for stunning views of Jupiter as was delivered the next day. We saw four of its moons and the coloured banding on its surface. I have read that you will never run out of objects to explore with an 8” Dobsonian telescope and this one has very fine optics so I’m very pleased with this purchase. It is on the cusp of transportability but manageable, I think the 10” might be a bit too big unless you have a big car with fold down seats and strong arms. The Telescope arrived collimated but make sure to align the finder scope during the day before using at night.
I had a shaky start with my Seestar, but this was entirely down to my lack of savvy. Now that I’m getting the hang of this beauty, I’m loving it more and more. Already grabbed some fabulous deep sky images which have impressed my friends and family. An amazing piece of kit. Thank you.
