8" f/4 StellaLyra Imaging Newtonian Reflector Telescope

The 8" f/4 StellaLyra Imaging Newtonian Reflector Telescope, crafted by Guan Sheng Optical (GSO) in Taiwan, is designed for deep-sky imaging. Its fast f/4 focal ratio makes it an ideal choice for capturing stunning astronomical images using either a dedicated astronomy CMOS/CCD camera or a DSLR.

This telescope features GSO aluminized parabolic primary mirrors with at least 93% reflectivity and a protective silicon-dioxide overcoat. This ensures long-lasting brightness. The telescope also comes with easy-to-adjust collimation knobs and an integrated fan to reduce cooling time.

The dual-speed 2" Linear Bearing (Monorail) Crayford focuser offers precise and smooth adjustments, handling small to medium-sized imaging payloads effortlessly. Additionally, an 8x50 straight finderscope with fully multicoated optics is included, which can be adapted for use as a guide-scope with an optional adapter.

For visual astronomy, a 2"-1.25" adapter and a 35mm focus extender are provided. The telescope is mounted using metal tube-rings and a Vixen-style dovetail plate. Note that a coma corrector is necessary for optimal astrophotography results.
