While there are ways to manage amp glow, wouldn’t it be better if it simply didn’t exist? This camera offers exactly that — delivering exceptionally clean frames without the need for workarounds.

It also boasts high quantum efficiency, very low read noise, a comparatively high frame rate (if needed), and a range of other advanced features.

Much like the ZWO ASI1600MM or ASI294MM, the ASI533MM-PRO is an excellent choice for deep sky imaging — but it does more than that. With a maximum framerate of 20 fps at 14-bit ADC, it also performs extremely well as a high-resolution planetary camera. If you're undecided between deep sky and planetary work, this is a strong all-round option. It's also a more affordable alternative to modifying a DSLR for astro work.

Now available with a monochrome sensor and featuring two-stage TEC cooling. (Note: a non-cooled version is not available.)

Further down you'll notice its specifications are similar to the ASI183MC-PRO, but with larger pixels and therefore a lower overall resolution. For use with very compact, widefield achromats or APOs, we’d recommend the ASI183MM-PRO. However, for slightly larger refractors, this model is an excellent fit.

In terms of performance and pricing, it slots neatly between the ASI294MM-PRO and ASI183MM-PRO — an ideal choice for those diving into monochrome imaging.
