Product Information

The BRESSER Guiding Kit AR90/500 is the ultimate solution for seamless long-term astrophotography. This universal tracking kit is designed for easy assembly and handling, consisting of a guiding scope, tracking camera, and a dovetail clamp. With this setup, you can effortlessly start long-exposure photography with active tracking control (autoguiding).

Simply mount the dovetail clamp with the provided screws onto the carrying handle of BRESSER Messier and EXPLORE-SCIENTIFIC telescopes. The AR90/500 guide scope and tracking camera can be securely fixed parallel to the main telescope. Connect the tracking camera to the ST-4 compatible autoguider socket on your telescope mount, then link it via USB to your Windows computer. Install the camera drivers and any preferred autoguider software, and you're ready for astrophotography.

The dovetail clamp includes 2 x 6mm countersunk holes (35mm hole spacing) and 3 additional 1/4" photo-tapped holes for versatile adaptation to various telescopes and adapter plates. The tracking camera is ideal for capturing both planetary and deep-sky objects. For a detailed description of the tracking camera, refer to BRESSER article number 4959050.

NOTE: Mount the camera on the telescope using the diagonal mirror to ensure proper focusing.

NOTE: Autoguider software is not included. You can use PHD Guiding, GuideDog, MetaGuide, GuideMaster (freeware), or AstroArt, MaxIm DL (chargeable).
